Select "Delete All Data and Partitions From the Hard Disk" or "Delete All Partitions and Overwrite All Sectors on the Hard Disk" if you choose to wipe the drive.
The first option will remove all data from the entire hard drive, the second option will remove all data from the first partition and the third option will remove all data from the drive and reinstall Windows to a partition of a specific size. Select "Recover to Out-of-Box-State," "Recover Without Changing the Hard Drive Partitions" or "Recover to a Custom Size Partition," if you chose to recover to factory conditions. Start over from Step 1.Ĭhoose your keyboard layout from the drop-down menu and then click "Next." Enter your administrative password and then click "OK."Ĭlick "TOSHIBA Recovery Wizard." Connect the AC adapter to the laptop and click "OK."Ĭlick "Recovery of Factory Default Software" to restore the hard drive to its original state click "Erase the Hard Disk" to wipe all data from the drive without reinstalling Windows.
Press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to restart the computer if Windows loads before entering Advanced Boot Options. Power on or restart the Satellite and press "F8" when the Toshiba logo appears.
